USAF Heartland of America Band
10/13/2009 - Offutt AFB, NE -- The USAF Heartland of America Band proudly announces "Here Come the Holidays," this year's annual holiday concerts to be presented December 10-13, 2009 at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Sponsored by the Omaha World-Herald, this 23rd annual holiday show will take the audience on a journey through holiday classics from past to present, and promises to rekindle patriotism and holiday spirit in audience members of all ages.
Led by First Lieutenant Michael Hoerber, Commander of the Heartland Band, this year's holiday showcase will feature the Concert Band, as well as several of the band's popular ensembles including Night Wing, The Noteables jazz ensemble, Brass in Blue brass ensemble, Winds of Freedom woodwind quintet and New Horizons clarinet quintet.

The Holiday Concert Series is a free, ticketed event. Free tickets are available only by clipping and sending in the request form found in the November 1 edition of the Omaha World-Herald. Limit 4 tickets per request.
Doors will be open to ticket holders one hour prior to each performance. Ticket requests frequently exceed available tickets, but there are often open seats. Ushers will seat all audience members with or without tickets in any available seats beginning 10-15 minutes prior to each show. |
