9/27/2012 - Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. -- It's time once again for Brass in Blue to hit the road, with Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota on the radar. The group will be performing a variety of concerts at colleges and high schools in the area, as well as giving several master classes for aspiring music students. As always, the concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Audience members young and old will enjoy an exciting program of heroic fanfares, patriotic marches, and classic vocal charts that will feature Technical Sergeant Becky Packard. A virtuosic French horn performance by Airman First Class Alena Zidlicky will round out the program providing something for everyone at the show. Whether you are looking for the great Olympic fanfare "Summon the Heroes," the Duke Ellington tune "Don't Get Around Much Anymore," or a stirring rendition of "Battle Hymn of the Republic," we're sure you won't want to miss this performance!

This tour is especially notable for several reasons. First of all, it is a homecoming of sorts for Airman First Class Ben Huseby who is a native of ND and a graduate of Minot State University. Brass in Blue will be performing at Ben's alma mater on October 19th. This is also Technical Sergeant Eric Proper's last tour with the group before being transferred to the NATO band stationed in Belgium. It has been wonderful having Eric in the group and we wish him all the best on his future endeavors.

Make sure you check out our calendar to see when Brass in Blue will be in your area, or follow us on our Facebook page to keep up with our travels. We look forward to seeing all of our fans in the area, as well as making some new ones!
