Nightwing performs for communities
MINOT, N.D. – Tech. Sgt. Lara Murdzia and Airman 1st Class Jordan Kimble, both members of the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band Nightwing, sing a song for members of Minot AFB and the local Minot community during a concert in Oak Park here Sept. 11. The free concert was put on by the 91st Missile Wing as a way to remember the events of 9/11 and to thank the communities surrounding the base for their continued support. The USAF Brass in Blue
The USAF Brass in Blue is pleased to take part in Music in Our Schools Month endorsed by MENC: The National Association for Music Education. This annual celebration helps promote music awareness and importance of music education in schools across the nation. Brass in Blue will bring their unique sound and music from the concert stage to the classroom during its March tour of Iowa. In addition to six evening performances, the ensemble will give eight masterclasses to students ages 5 to 25.
